The Boulevard Magazine, a publication within the Anton Media Group of publications, is seeking successful Advertising Sales Representatives in the NYC/Nassau/Suffolk county area for our celebrity lifestyle magazine. 

The Boulevard’s Primary Goal: Revenue Growth And Revenue Collection 

The Boulevard’s primary goal is revenue growth not only in existing zones but with an eye towards expansion. Such is not an easy endeavor in this competitive New York marketplace. The Boulevard is dependent upon our outside sales force to land, service, maintain, and retain advertisers. 

Our success is dependent upon our sales reps’ ongoing stellar service and commitment to customer satisfaction. The sales rep, on the front lines, is an essential component in all our endeavors, including revenue collection.

Regional sales job description:

 
.    Prospecting and generating new accounts for both Print and Online advertising sales. * Developing customer presentations, identifying marketing needs, and developing marketing plans to the mutual benefit of customer and The Boulevard.
.    Continuing to service all viable accounts after the sale has been made. Ongoing service includes (but is not limited to) troubleshooting, maintaining good customer relations, facilitating ad proof approvals, helping advertisers meet their deadlines, and, most importantly, being our front-line liaison with each advertiser - especially regarding any dissatisfaction, areas of improvement, contract compliance, and revenue collection.
.    Each work day and each work week is spent meeting potential advertisers, visiting existing advertisers, servicing the needs of existing advertisers, canvassing the community in pursuit of sales opportunities, sales efforts, and sales activities.
 

Job Requirements


 
.    A successful candidate must have a desire to succeed.
.    Candidates should be a good communicator, self-disciplined, positive, energetic, persistent, hard working and possess a strong ethical foundation.
.    Candidates must also have a natural initiative to cold call and prospect for potential advertisers, close contract commitments consistently and conduct a sales relationship on a positive, consultative basis.
.    Previous success in sales is a must.
.    Comfort with a computer is necessary.
.    Previous knowledge of contact database programs is a plus, but not necessary.
.    Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
.    Previous Media Buying Contacts, Advertiser relationships recommended but not required
.    Clear understanding of the internet and online marketing
 
The Boulevard Magazine Inc. is part of one of Long Island’s most successful publishing companies. We publish 18 weekly newspapers as well as several other publications. The magazine publishes 6 times per year and is direct mailed to the highest-value, owner-occupied homes in each area as well as available in newsstand locations. Our circulation is 100 thousand. The Boulevard Magazine's headquarters is located in Mineola, NY and has offices in Glen Cove, Port Washington and Great Neck, New York.

We are a growing company and seek both full and part time sales people who will maximize this opportunity to create unlimited income.
